No power? Need heat?
THE SOLUTION IS HERE!
Introducing Emergency Heating Shelters (the “EHS”), created by Shields Products, Inc. The EHS is a self-contained, insulated shelter that requires no external power sources to heat. Heats using your own body heat.
Data below is based on multiple one-hour field tests, to show the average
temperature rate increases. The average recorded rates are an increase of
15+ degrees an hour.
2 people, total weight 350 lbs. Starting temperature 39 degrees, ending
temperature 58 degrees.
2 people, total weight 350 lbs. Starting temperature 55 degrees, ending
temperature 71 degrees.
1 person, total weight 230 lbs. Starting temperature 57 degrees, ending
temperature 72 degrees.
Why the EHS??? . . .
Many situations such as natural disasters like floods, tornadoes and hurricanes, can result in power outages. Often power outages cause homes to be without electricity and heat. If the temperatures drop to an uncomfortable level, residents may be unable to stay in their homes. Power outages could last for days or even weeks, creating a need for temporary and/or emergency solutions.
It can be difficult when power outages devastate a large area, causing those temporary solutions to disappear quickly from local stores. Conventional alternatives for providing temporary, emergency housing can be expensive to deploy, and vacating homes leaves them vulnerable to looters.
Outdoor enthusiasts can also find themselves in unpredictable temperature drops while camping, hiking, or hunting, and require a quick solution to possible life threatening conditions.
There was a need for an insulated, compact, portable, and easy-to-assemble shelter to allow people to remain safe during those uncomfortably cold situations.
When necessary, simply deploy the EHS and enjoy the warmth that the EHS will provide you throughout the day or night, or simply use it as a warming shelter during those emergency situations.
